This striking A5 notebook features the beautiful ‘Rosebud Moiré’ wallpaper design from the Family Room at Jane Austen’s House.

This stunning geometric Regency wallpaper design was recreated from fragments of historic wallpaper found behind the shutters in the Family Room at Jane Austen’s House, where they can still be seen today.

The pattern was carefully recreated by historic wallpaper specialist Hamilton Weston, using traditional techniques.

The verditer (light blue/green pigment) and white lines on the historic design are thought to represent ribbons of blue and white moiré silk, interwoven to create a trellis. At the centre of each diamond is an enigmatic ‘pin print’ motif, a little like a spider.

This pretty, practical notebook has a soft cover, lined pages with the Jane Austen's House logo on each page.
